Job Description:
Purpose:
· Define integration architecture for applications under IDC development or maintenance.
· Carry out detailed impact analysis and estimate architectural changes needed to implement the requirements of integration architecture.
· Conduct architectural reviews with the business and provide architectural options and optimization / improvements.
· Closely coordinate with business, product management, development, delivery and operations teams to deliver integration design and architectural documents that meets the business requirements. Act as an interface between development & business users to implement the designed integrations.
· Define Business architecture, Data/Information architecture, Application architecture, application specific infrastructure architecture, communications architecture.
· Define and implement integration standards, provide blueprints, document and deploy governance and operations processes.
· Facilitate technical support during the development of the application solution.
· Lead ISS T&A Team.
Key Responsibilities
· Technological backbone of the organization.
· Define the integration framework including integration processes, integration standards and policies and run time operations manuals.
· Implement and Govern middleware / Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
· Responsible for managing Architectural projects.
· Closely monitor integration architecture implementation.
· Provide technical support and technical quality control throughout all stages of the project.
· Keep track of current technology trends and introduce new technology and practices for the benefit of the projects.
· Architectural review of new and existing applications and provide necessary improvement strategy and drive till implementation.
· Responsible for technological road map of product / application life cycle.
· Responsible for making applications in alignment with Project & Organizational Strategic objectives.
· Suggest organization to take over externally developed applications / COTS products for maintenance, support and operations.
· Responsible for defining development environment standards, including Tools, Databases, Frameworks, Design / Integration Patterns, Solutions to be used.
· Responsible for imparting knowledge to Technical team members on Framework development and other emerging trends.
· Ability to work independently with multiple international stakeholders simultaneously and demonstrate measurable results in the areas of
Essential:
· This position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Computer science/IT
· Hands on experience of various integrations architecture implementation.
· Architectural knowledge on process, standards, integration, data and infrastructure aspects.
· Hands on working on SOA - Service Oriented Architecture.
· Working Experience in Dot Net Framework 2.0 / 3.0 /3.5 /4.0
· Hands on experience in WCF, WWF
· Hands on Experience in integration platform BizTalk is MUST.
· MS SQL 2000/2005 /2008 working experience required.
· Ability to provide innovative ideas and solutions
· Experience in various development methodologies and modeling techniques
· Ability to plan, delegate and manage responsibility and delivery.
· 10 years to 15 years of experience in Information Technology.
Desirable:
· Experience in ERP Development.
· Knowledge of windows presentation foundation (WPF)
· Microsoft Certifications added advantage.
· Shipping Domain knowledge is value add.
· Hands on experience in IIS Configuration is value add.
· Knowledge and experience in using modeling tool Visio with BPMN.
· Knowledge on Enterprise Architectures such as BPMN, eTOM, SID, TIP, TOGAF, TAM, ITIL etc.
